We advocate using the new geolocation application called, What3Words, which creates a uniform and accurate addressing system that is easy to communicate. Its a global grid of 3m x 3m squares – with each square identified by a 3-word address. Rather than using the traditional but awkward GPS coordinates or post office home addressing system of street numbers, W3W using three easily remembered words to identify a 9-square meter chunk of earth, anywhere in the world. This will become the official location finding methodology over time since it addresses the problem of locating non-addressed locations in rural areas. Check it out and start giving your friends your W3W address rather than your traditional address. When you book a meeting, or need to meet a friend somewhere for coffee, use W3W and eliminate any confusion.
