Peter has considerable NGO leadership experience having spent 13 years working for International NGO’s as well as for the United Nations in South Sudan. His primary passion is working with the many needy people who live in the area of his youth. Peter is the Volunteer HPI regional field representative working out of his home in the Obbo area. Peter oversees all of HPI’s efforts to establish a successful agriculture-based economy among his people.

Peter was born in the northern part of Uganda in 1969, one of 4 boys and 3 girls but raised in the Obbo area of South Sudan. This is the same area where HPI has established its experimental farm. Peter received his primary and secondary education in the general area with his advanced education taking place in Khartoum, the capital city of South Sudan. Peter also received extensive leadership development courses offered by Cambridge College in London, UK. Peter, having a heart for God and for the needy he continued his studies in Christian Lay Leadership in Khartoum, Sudan.

Now residing in Juba and Obbo, Peter is married to Flora and they are raising 4 boys and 3 daughters.
