For less than the price of a very basic fitness membership, we automatically clear the city sidewalk in front of your home or business within the timeframe mandated by your local bylaws. This avoids panic on your part and issuing city fines on their part.
We offer peace of mind for busy families, the elderly, the infirm, property managers, realtors, and even winter vacationers. As part of a community service agreement, we help to beautify and raise the image and safety of the entire neighborhood by eliminating unsightly and un-shovelled common area pathways.
For an extra service fee, we will optionally clear your front yard only, or we can add the back yard and lane access as an optional upgraded service.
Seasonal Service Plans
Our rates are based on the prorated average linear footage of the city block your property occupies for standard sized city sidewalks in front of your property (assuming 60" wide pathways) and a per square foot charge on your private spaces, driveways, and walkways. We have an assumed seasonal snow fall frequency of 35 cleanable events based on published historical averages. We precisley measure your property dimensions using the Google Maps tool and then multiply your unique property dimensions by the stated rates per linear foot and square foot to get a per job rate. We then multiply by the seasonal event average to establish the yearly prorated service fees for your property. After deducting the annual membership fee, the balance can be divided into regular installaments (of 2-12) to suit any budget. Imagine, you can now spread your snow cleaning fees over the entire year to make it easy on your budget.
By participating in a Community MBA (Maintenance By Association) plan, you get the benefit of the group buying power of the entire community with the predictability and convenience of a set monthly membership fee to allow for year-round budgeting.
You will save 30-60% off the cost of private service and we get the efficiency of serving a larger customer base in a closed community. These savings are passed directly to each participating property owner or tenant without the hassle of mandated homeowner association fees. Service is optional, affordable, and can be cancelled at the end of any season.
Our unique color-coded window sticker system notifies our contractors which service level your property receives automatically without the need for per visit interactions or billings. The work is done automatically and is paid for by the monthly maintenance fees you pay. It's like living in a condo or as part of a homeowner's association but without the onerous rules and requirements.
Your optional participation is based on an annual seasonal service contract and can be cancelled at the end of any 12-month term. (yes, your winter services plan covers you for a full 12 months in case it snows in any month of the year!)
For those who need just occasional service on demand, (e.g. for heavy snow falls) our PAG plan allows you to request service when needed for a fixed rate per job. (We will clean up to 15 cm of snow per PAG service. A heavy 30 cm snow event counts as two services.)
When we provide you with a written quote, we include a breakeven analysis which shows how many service events per year must occur for the regular fixed rate plan to break even with the PAG plan. Usually, it works out to 12-24 cleanings per year where your would be better off on a fixed rate plan. In Calgary, we average 35 snow events annually.
