This is a vintage chair from an optional matching sofa and chair set that was last reupholstered in the 1980's. All three are of high quality construction which are able to refreshed with new fabric if desired. Independent spring tensioning adjustment is available underneath each unit. The pictures provided show the underside construction of one of the chairs which is the same on the sofa. 

This would make for a perfect starter set for university or college students, or young people just moving out on their own for the first time where outdated fashion is less important than having good functional furniture. Throw a blankout or slip cover over top and personlize it the way you like. 

Ideally the sofa will be sold with the two matching chairs as a set. You will need to arrange for pickup and delivery from the seller's place of sale.
