Opening Day 2020
In the 30 years that McScoot's has been in business, we have never missed an opening day of May 1st.
In 2017 we saw floods, forest fires, and the opening of Harley Davidson rentals. 2018 witnessed more forest fires and the closing of the short-lived McScoot's Penticton location. While 2019 saw the introduction of electric scooters in downtown Kelowna.
All of these had a profound effect on us here at McScoot's but didn't stop us in our mission to serve up memorable adventures to our global tourists.
Now, here we are in the midst of the Covid19 crisis and, for the first time in our history, unable to open on schedule, having our bikes and scooters sit idle through the May long weekend...OUCH!!
However, instead of tucking our tail between our legs and running away, McScoots is facing this unprecedented challenge head on. We are taking this time to upgrade our services by offering:
a new online store (hoodies, tees, hats)
a self-manageable interface for merchants to create their own advertising profiles and for riders to create and manage their own ride profiles for future bookings
an updated reservation interface with more options for booking your ride
updated information for planning your trip
a merchant partnership program to offer exclusive member benefits and discounts to our riders
and everything you need to make the most of your vacation on one site, all at your finger tips.
Our promise to you is that we will not only keep up the excellent service you have come expect from McScoot's, but we will exceed your expectations in 2020 and beyond!
